Steve Musica coaches healthcare improvement projects and helps bring out the best in people. He is well regarded for his team leadership and has facilitated performance improvement projects both large and small for organizations including regional hospitals and local health practices. Steve is a certified Lean Six Sigma black belt with extensive experience in Toyota Production System (TPS) methods. He learned Lean with some of the best in the world and now uses his knowledge and experience to help others transform their organizations.
Steve has previous management and operational experience as President, CEO, COO, and VP of Operations for medical and technology companies. He has led multi-million dollar projects, raised and managed public and private investments, and worked in areas of manufacturing, operations, engineering, large industry, and energy for Fortune 100 companies and start-ups. Steve has nearly 20 years of experience coaching organizational best practices that increase customer satisfaction and profitability. He has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine with high distinction and high honors and a Masters in Engineering Management degree from Dartmouth College.
Bob Cameron is a Senior Consultant with Lean Healthcare East and a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He believes Lean is not something an organization does, but rather is an enabler that when coupled with the right culture and behavior will help any organization achieve its full potential. Bob has had a 33-year military career, with over ten of those years dedicated to leading Lean deployment for the Navy in Bath, Maine. Responsibilities included advising Senior Leadership on process improvement and quality, planning and executing Strategic Planning efforts, conducting Value Stream Analysis, teaching Lean Six Sigma courses, mentoring new Black Belts and Green Belts, and developing a Lean/Quality deployment strategy in conjunction with strategic planning efforts.
Bob has earned a BA in Industrial Technology from the University of Southern Maine and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. The American Society for Quality (ASQ) has certified Bob as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. Bob is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of Southern New Hampshire, where he teaches a graduate-level course in Six Sigma Quality Management.
Dan Skinner is a Senior Consultant with strong dual leadership and analytical strengths, who has developed extensive expertise in performance coaching, strategic planning, forecasting, operations management, engineering, Lean/Six Sigma process improvement, supply chain management, program planning, and business process design. Dan’s Lean journey extends over 20 years, working with organizations such as Baldrige Award-winning Corning Optical Fiber, IBM Global Business Services, and Booz Allen Hamilton. He has coached leaders in a variety of transformation efforts across numerous industries, Federal and State Government agencies, and multiple nonprofits. His most rewarding professional impact was his contribution to the Hurricane Katrina Recovery Effort, where he led the value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and redesign efforts for FEMA’s housing program.
Dan has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from Cornell University, where he focused on Innovation Strategy and Marketing. He is a Lean Practitioner and trained Black Belt who has personally taught Lean principles and methods to over 2,000 clients and consulting colleagues.
Michelle Wyman is a Senior Consultant with a mission to create learning opportunities that support and engage individuals in reaching their personal best (confident, competent, and fulfilled) and organizations in continuously improving to achieve strategic objectives. Michelle has held leadership positions in energy, health care, and manufacturing industries where she has managed Organizational Development, Team Development, Leadership Development, Technical Skills Training, Apprenticeship Programs, and Human Resource functions. She has extensive experience with performance management, competency development, and coaching both individuals and teams.
Michelle is a Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) with 30 years of Organizational Development, Training, and Human Resource experience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Michelle is certified in Coaching, Change Management, Six Sigma and as a Society of Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Michelle formerly served on the Board of Directors for Coastal Counties Workforce Development and on the Executive Board of Maine’s Society for Healthcare Human Resource Administration (MSHHRA), where she received a Leadership Award for her Training and Development efforts.
